EC Fence Warranty
PVC Fence Supply is proud to offer EC Fence systems, manufactured by ecFence Systems, a division of Aluminm Inc. This Limited Warranty outlines the coverage, conditions, and claims process for EC Fence products purchased through PVC Fence Supply. The warranty is designed to protect your investment and ensure long-term confidence in the performance of your fencing system.
This warranty applies to all eligible EC Fence products purchased on or after August 1, 2025. Products purchased prior to this date remain subject to earlier warranty terms.
Warranty Coverage
This Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential and light commercial use.
Products Covered:
- ecPanel and ecStarter fence panels
- Finishes: Arctic White and Natural Bronze
- SMP (Silicon Modified Polyester) coating system
Covered Defects Include:
- SMP coating defects such as chipping, peeling, flaking, or adhesion failure
- Manufacturing defects in panel structure
- Premature coating degradation beyond normal weathering
- Excessive colour fading exceeding 5 Delta E units within the first five years
Warranty Periods
Coverage is provided in three clearly defined tiers, beginning from the original purchase date.
Tier 1 Coverage
Years 1 to 5
- Full replacement coverage for all covered defects
- 100% replacement of defective panels
- Coverage for excessive colour fading beyond industry standards
Tier 2 Coverage
Years 6 to 10
- Prorated coverage at 70% of current retail value
- Covers manufacturing defects, structural issues, and coating adhesion failures
Tier 3 Coverage
Years 11 to 15
- Prorated coverage at 40% of current retail value
- Covers manufacturing defects and structural panel failures only
Performance & Engineering Standards
EC Fence panels sold by PVC Fence Supply are engineered and manufactured to meet or exceed the following standards:
- 2023 Florida Building Code (8th Edition)
- Miami-Dade County High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) requirements
- Engineered for wind loads up to 115 MPH
- Approved for use in Miami-Dade County
These standards ensure long-term performance even in demanding environments.
What Is Not Covered
This Limited Warranty does not cover the following:
Normal Wear & Weathering
- Gradual colour fading within industry standards (≤5 Delta E units in the first five years)
- Minor surface chalking consistent with normal exposure
- Normal expansion and contraction
External Damage
- Impact damage from vehicles, tools, or objects
- Damage caused by improper installation or failure to follow manufacturer guidelines
- Vandalism, graffiti, or intentional damage
- Chemical damage from non-approved cleaning products
- Damage caused by modifications or alterations to original panels
Environmental Limitations
- Installation within 1,000 feet of saltwater
- Exposure to industrial chemicals or corrosive environments
- Extreme weather events, including hurricanes, tornadoes, or hail exceeding 1 inch in diameter
Claims Process
All warranty claims for products purchased through PVC Fence Supply must follow the manufacturer’s process.

Step 2: Required Documentation
- Proof of purchase from PVC Fence Supply
- Installation date and installer details
- High-resolution photos showing the defect
- Description of the issue and environmental conditions
Step 3: Evaluation
- Initial response within 7 business days
- Full evaluation within 14 business days
- On-site inspection may be required for claims over $500
Step 4: Resolution
- Replacement panels shipped directly, or
- Prorated store credit based on warranty tier
Approved claims are typically processed within 30 business days.
Warranty Limitations & Transfer Policy
- Coverage applies to purchases within the continental United States
- Warranty is limited to panel replacement only
- Labour, installation, removal, and incidental or consequential damages are not covered
Transferability:
- Warranty may be transferred to a new property owner
- $50 transfer fee applies
- Remaining warranty period continues unchanged
Enhanced Customer Protection
Coverage is provided in three clearly defined tiers, beginning from the original purchase date.
Batch Protection
If a manufacturing defect affects multiple panels from the same production batch, EC Fence will proactively replace all affected panels at no cost.
Installation Support
Pre-approved installer networks, installation guidelines, and video support are available through PVC Fence Supply.
Maintaining Your Warranty
To keep your warranty valid:
- Clean panels annually using mild soap and water
- Use only manufacturer-approved cleaning products
- Fasten panels using stainless steel screws
- Cut panels with a low-RPM steel cold-cut saw
- Install posts made of aluminium or galvanised steel only
- Register your warranty within 30 days of installation
Legal & Patent Information
EC Fence systems are protected by U.S. Utility Patent No. 11,066,846 B1, covering the interlocking panel design. This warranty is backed by Aluminm Inc. and governed by the laws of the state in which the product was purchased. Additional legal rights may vary by state.
